〜 A rose tradition in Italy 〜
It is considered an honored tradition in Italy, for the groom to take a bouquet of red roses to the bride's home, just before attending the church for their wedding ceremony. Red roses are an expression of "Eternity Love" and according to Italian catholic belief;
red roses make the best wishes from heaven, come true.
Guests of Farewell Lunch Party expressed their warmest greetings to the Consul General of Italy and Mrs. Giselda Zanini, who would leave Japan and be promoted a new country. Consul general of Switzerland, Greece, the wives of consul generals of British, Netherlands and India expressed their farewell with a heartfelt message.
we also enjoyed having a delightful Italian cuisine by prepareing Chef Luca Pecorari. Finally the member of Rose seminar presented a bouquet of rose to the Consul General of Italy、Mr.Stefano Zanini and for a Finale he presented the bouquet of rose to his wife to express his gratitude during their stay in Japan, with a big kiss.
She showed us her wedding photographs, which was beautifully decorated with roses and amazingly, she looked just like the painting of The Birth of Venus by Botticelli's.
